Hangar Piemonte opens call for cultural transformation projects

Hangar Piemonte, a regional project launched in 2014 by the Assessorato alla Cultura e al Turismo of Regione Piemonte and realized by Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo with support from Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, has been restructured as an agency for cultural transformation. Its operational arm, Hangar Point, has launched a new call for proposals targeting organizations—public or private—active in cultural, social, educational, welfare, or environmental fields in Piedmont. The call seeks projects that animate and improve spaces such as schools, hospitals, senior centers, libraries, and public parks through cultural actions. Eight winning organizations will receive an 18-month mentoring program from a multidisciplinary team including artists, covering project management, sustainability, fundraising, and more. Applications are open until February 27. Raffaella Tittone of Regione Piemonte emphasized the region's support for Hangar's role in building territorial networks across sustainability, digital innovation, healthcare, schools, and libraries. Hangar Director Mara Loro stated the vision is to create networks that respond to internal and external changes, stimulate osmosis between public and private entities, and redefine organizational identity within a systemic perspective.
