Hangar Bicocca Reopens in April with Expanded Hours and Free Admission

Hangar Bicocca in Milan will reopen in April after renovations, expanding its 15,000 square meters. The space will now stay open until 11 PM, offer free entry, and add educational programs and visitor services. The new programming is led by director Chiara Bertola and curator Andrea Lissoni. Two inaugural exhibitions are planned: "NON NON NON," a retrospective of video works by Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi featuring seven installations from archival materials, and a new version of Hans-Peter Feldmann's "Shadow Play," a 20-meter-long table with rotating pedestals and objects that cast shadows on a white wall. Feldmann's work was first shown at Sprengel Museum Hannover in 2002 and later at Kunsthaus Zürich, Art Unlimited, Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin, and the 2009 Venice Biennale.
