Guido Guidi's Le Corbusier Photographs at Unosunove Gallery

exhibition · 2026-05-05

The Unosunove Gallery in Rome presents for the first time in its entirety the photographic series by Guido Guidi (born 1941 in Cesena) dedicated to the architecture of Le Corbusier. The project originated in 2003 from an editorial commission by Einaudi, for which Guidi—trained at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and later a professor at IUAV—photographed key Le Corbusier buildings: Villa Savoye, Villa La Roche, Usine Duval, Maison Planeix, and Cité de Refuge. Curated by Andrea Simi, the exhibition translates the three-dimensional works into two-dimensional fragments, arranged in a modular display that echoes the architect's modular units. Guidi's approach, characterized by patient observation of light and marginal spaces, transforms the buildings into abstract compositions. The show runs at Unosunove Gallery in Rome.
