institutional · 2026-04-27

The board of directors has appointed Guido Casali as the CEO and content director of ITsART, the Italian cultural streaming service that debuted in June 2021, with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (51%), the majority stakeholder, endorsing his selection. Giorgio Tacchia from technology partner Chili Spa (49%) will assume the role of president. Casali takes over from Giano Biagini, the general manager of CHILI. ITsART, which is backed by Italy's Ministry of Culture, seeks to promote Italian art worldwide, having achieved over 350,000 content streams, more than one million accesses, and 80,000 registered users. The platform offers both free and paid content without requiring a subscription. A law graduate, Casali previously led Classica on Sky and established Sky Arte, with plans to boost platform usage and broaden distribution across the EU by October.
