Guide to Virtual Open Days and Webinars in Italian Art Education

Artribune compiles a guide to virtual Open Days and webinars offered by Italian art and design schools and cultural institutions, a format that proliferated during the COVID-19 lockdown and continues post-pandemic. IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) holds its Open Day Online on July 6-7, 2020, across two days, covering courses in Fashion, Design, Visual Arts, Communication, Art and Restoration at its campuses in Milan, Rome, Turin, Florence, Cagliari, and Accademia Galli Como. Ophera, a project born in 2019 under the MiBACT Regional Secretariat for Marche and funded by Creative Europe, organizes the Ophera Summer Webinar on June 26, 2020, focusing on cultural heritage restoration in areas hit by the 2016 earthquake, featuring international experts. ART Up, an association founded in 2012 that integrates art and mental health, offers two free webinars on art and psyche on June 26 and July 3, 2020.
