Guggenheim Young Collectors Council Party Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Nguyen Installation and Paglen Award
On Thursday night, the Young Collectors Council Party at the Guggenheim Museum marked its 30th anniversary, showcasing an immersive installation by this year's YCC Artist Collaborator, Diane Severin Nguyen, utilizing LG OLED technology. The event recognized Trevor Paglen with the LG Guggenheim Award, part of the LG Guggenheim Art and Technology Initiative, celebrated by Mariët Westermann, Seol Park, and Don Kwack. Guests enjoyed a catered dinner from GOURMEGA, champagne from Maison Ruinart, and tequila from Casa Dragones, along with a mirrored LED dance floor and an Aura Journey photo booth. Proceeds support the Young Collectors Council Art Fund, with artists like Anthony Akinbola and Jes Fan in attendance, and cochaired by Sophia Cohen and others.
