Guerrilla Projection on Bezos's Penthouse Protests Met Gala Role

The projection featured a video testimony from Mary Hill, a 72-year-old Amazon warehouse worker with cancer struggling financially, who called for honoring workers instead of billionaires. Slogans like "Boycott The Bezos Met Gala" were also projected onto the Chrysler and Empire State buildings. Union workers, including former Amazon employee Lamont Hopewell of Teamsters Local 804, gathered nearby in support. An organizer stated that workers should be celebrated, not those who avoid taxes and support Donald Trump.
