Guerlain Spa Opens Largest Location at Newly Reopened Waldorf Astoria New York

The Waldorf Astoria New York has recently reopened, now featuring the largest Guerlain spa in the world, which covers 22,000 square feet and includes 16 treatment rooms, two couples' rooms, and three suites. This iconic Art Deco hotel showcases meticulously restored elements, such as the Wheel of Life mosaic, lapis-hued carpets, and the World's Fair Clock, originally commissioned by Queen Victoria, which took over a year to restore. Opened last fall, the Guerlain spa is one of two global flagship locations (the other in Paris) and boasts one of only two Longeviskin machines, a device offering seven treatments using microcurrents and cryotherapy. Marie Barthélemy, the director of international spas and wellness at Guerlain, provides personalized facials with products like Orchidée Impériale Mousse and rice powder exfoliation. The spa caters to guests aged 18 and older, with non-hotel visitors also able to schedule appointments. Gratuity is included to simplify the tipping process. In the hotel lobby, a jazz trio performs at Cole Porter's piano, honoring the composer's 30-year residency.
