Group Show 'Parachute' Examines Survival and the Body at Przeciąg Gallery

The group exhibition 'Parachute' at Przeciąg Gallery in Warsaw brings together five Polish artists—Jakub Czyż, Konrad Gubała, Martyna Kielesińska, Weronika Kocewiak, and Anna Siekierska—to explore themes of survival, bodily transformation, and the liminal space of falling. Running from April 17 to May 17, 2026, the show presents works in wood, metal, glass, ceramics, oil on canvas, and mixed media that oscillate between control and chaos, repetition and spontaneity. The artists engage with posthumanist and capitalist narratives, questioning the boundaries between the primal self and the cyborg-like posthuman. The exhibition's title references the parachute jump as a metaphor for a shift away from dystopian endings, emphasizing resilience and adaptation.
