Group Show at Miramare Castle Explores Human-Nature Relationship

The group exhibition 'Naturae. Ambienti di arte contemporanea' at the Museo storico e Parco del Castello di Miramare in Trieste runs until November 9, 2025. Curated by Melania Rossi, the show features over 50 works by 18 contemporary artists across 12 thematic sections, including sculpture, video, painting, drawing, and photography. Artists include Rebecca Horn, Hermann Nitsch, Marina Abramović, Mimmo Paladino, Pietro Ruffo, José Angelino, Serse Roma, Marta Roberti, Simone Berti, Gianni Caravaggio, Elisabetta Di Maggio, Christiane Löhr, Jan Fabre, Sophie Ko, Luca Trevisani, Macoto Murayama, Liu Bolin, and Bianco–Valente. From April 16, 2025, two new works by Davide Rivalta and Mario Schifano are added to the exhibition, with Rivalta's outdoor piece engaging directly with the castle park landscape. The inauguration also marks the presentation of the restored wooden cross and ruins of the Cappella di San Canciano.
