Greta Scarano's Directorial Debut 'La vita da grandi' Hits Italian Theaters April 3

Actress Greta Scarano makes her feature directorial debut with 'La vita da grandi', a film based on the true story of Damiano and Margherita Tercon. The movie follows Irene (Matilda De Angelis), who returns from Rome to her hometown Rimini to care for her autistic older brother Omar (Yuri Tuci). Omar has clear life goals: to marry, have three children, and become a famous rapper. Irene helps him achieve independence in an intensive 'adulting' course. The film explores family dynamics, disability, and the invisible burden on siblings. Scarano co-wrote the script with Sofia Assirelli and Tieta Madia. The film releases on April 3, 2025, distributed by 01 Distribution. Scarano previously directed the short film 'Feliz Navidad' (2023).
