Gregory Halpern's Limited-Edition Box Set 'Let the Sun Beheaded Be' Supports Nonprofits

A special limited-edition box set of Gregory Halpern's 2020 photobook 'Let the Sun Beheaded Be' features a signed, numbered print and benefits both Locust Street Art and the Pan American Health Organization. Only seventy copies are available, each containing a clothbound book with silver foil stamping, housed in a clamshell box. The publication delves into Guadeloupe's colonial past, accompanied by a text from curator Clément Chéroux and a dialogue with Stanley Wolukau-Wanambwa. Included in each set is a signed 8-by-10-inch digital c-print titled 'Untitled, 2019.' This project is produced by the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès, in collaboration with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Halpern, born in Buffalo, New York, in 1977, teaches at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
