Gregor Muir Appointed Director of Collection, International Art at Tate
Gregor Muir has been named the new Director of Collection, International Art at Tate, taking over from Frances Morris, who held the position since January 2017. Muir's career in the arts took off at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London in 2011, where he played a pivotal role in revitalizing the institution while collaborating with various acclaimed artists. He previously worked at Tate Modern as the Kramlich Curator of Contemporary Art from 2001 to 2004, focusing on contemporary exhibitions and film acquisitions. Muir’s extensive experience positions him well for this new leadership role.
