Greccio 2023: 3.9 Million Euro Budget and 65,000 Euro Salary for Cultural Manager

The National Committee for the 800th anniversary of St. Francis's first nativity scene in Greccio has announced a call for a cultural manager. The position, with a salary of 65,000 euros per year plus expenses, requires at least five years of experience in cultural planning in Italy and abroad. The contract is for 24 months, renewable up to 36 months. The committee, chaired by Greccio mayor Emiliano Fabi, has a total budget of 3.9 million euros (1.3 million per year for 2021-2023), allocated 70% for infrastructure and 30% for cultural initiatives. Deputy Alessandro Fusacchia, who secured the funding via a budget amendment, emphasized the need for a visionary project comparable to Italian or European cultural capitals. The deadline for applications is February 21, 2022.
