Grand Condé Pink Diamond Exhibition at Château de Chantilly

The Musée Condé at the Château de Chantilly, in partnership with L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, will present an exhibition from 17 October 2026 to 3 January 2027 chronicling the history of the Pink Diamond, known as the “Grand Condé”. This historic gemstone weighs over 9 carats and has been documented in the collections of the Princes of Condé since the 18th century. Stolen in October 1926, it was recovered shortly afterwards hidden inside an apple. A century later, the diamond returns to public display. The exhibition marks the first extensive interdisciplinary research project for a diamond of this calibre, undertaken by the Musée Condé and L’ÉCOLE.
