Granada Form's White ADU in Angelino Heights Becomes Neighborhood Coffee Hub
In Angelino Heights, Los Angeles, a new 7.6-meter cubic white accessory dwelling unit (ADU) designed by Granada Form has become a popular neighborhood meeting point, especially among coffee enthusiasts. The project, named Casa Granada Echo Park, features sharp rectilinear cutouts on its facade and covers an area of 25 square feet. Completed in 2025, the ADU was designed by architect Isaac Watters, who also serves as the principal architect and general contractor, with design team members Isaac Watters and Sydney Wayser. The residents and designers, Sydney Wayser and Isaac Watters, are interdisciplinary creators and both musicians; Wayser is also an interior designer, and Watters is an architect. The project was curated by Susanna Moreira and photographed by Justin Chung. The ADU's design and function have been widely welcomed by locals, creating a new social hub in the neighborhood.
