Google Sheets Introduces AI-Powered 'Sheets Canvas' for Interactive Data Visualization

Google has just rolled out a feature called Sheets canvas in Google Sheets, which leverages its Gemini AI to turn regular spreadsheet data into fun, interactive mini-apps. This new tool lets users create custom dashboards, seating arrangements, study trackers, and more using simple language commands—no coding or complicated formulas needed. Sheets canvas updates in real-time with the original spreadsheet, making data more engaging and easier to work with. It supports collaborative editing, just like regular sheets. Announced on the Google blog, it’s available globally in English for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and is being gradually introduced to Google Workspace users on Business or Enterprise plans. This feature can help with tasks like managing schoolwork, fantasy football, and wedding planning, showcasing its versatility.
