Google Invests in Missouri Data Center and Community Programs

Google is expanding its footprint in Missouri by constructing a new data center in Montgomery County, backed by a Capacity Commitment Framework agreement with Ameren to create more than 500 megawatts of additional capacity. To help reduce utility costs, the company is launching a $20 million Energy Impact Fund focused on home weatherization and efficiency projects. For every direct job created at its data centers, Google generates nine local jobs.
