Google and Kaggle's Vibe Coding Course Attracts 353,000 Developers

Google and Kaggle's five-day intensive course, "AI Agents: Intensive Vibe Coding," drew over 353,000 registered participants, marking a significant milestone in AI education. The course, which took place in June, focused on building and deploying AI agents using natural language, a practice known as "vibe coding." Participants engaged in real-time collaboration on Kaggle's Discord, where over 392,000 active members swapped code, debugged together, and formed study groups. The capstone projects showcased the community's creativity, with over 6,000 submissions from more than 12,000 active participants. Notable projects included Palimpsest, a historical manuscript transcription pipeline, and Project ARIES, a space-weather research system. The course materials remain available as a self-paced guide on Kaggle Learn, and the partnership between Google and Kaggle continues, with plans for future learning opportunities. This initiative builds on the success of the first "5 Day Intensive" course in 2024, which has since attracted over 2 million learners and developers to Google and Kaggle's free, multimodal courses.
