González Olsina & Vega Arquitectos design Music Room house in Uruguay's coastal landscape
Architects Charly González Olsina and Eduardo Vega of González Olsina & Vega Arquitectos have completed Music Room - Casa La Flecha, a 230-square-meter architectural project in 2025. Located in Playa Matamora within Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, the house faces the expansive Río de la Plata. The coastal landscape features native vegetation and a constant river horizon, creating a contemplative environment that guided the intervention. The project team included collaborators Cecilia Blanco, Nicolás Telechea, and Bianca Brescia, with landscape design by Eduardo Vera and technical direction by ARS Arquitectos. Valentina Díaz served as curator, while Luis Abba provided photography and Victoria Fernández handled graphics. The renovation project responds directly to its wild, silent surroundings along Uruguay's coastline.
