Godfrey Worsdale Named New Director of Henry Moore Foundation
Godfrey Worsdale will become the Henry Moore Foundation's new director in July, taking over from Richard Calvocoressi who is retiring after eight years. Currently leading BALTIC in Gateshead, Worsdale began his career at the British Museum in the early 1990s following art history and conservation training in London. His previous leadership roles include directing Southampton City Art Gallery and establishing Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (MIMA) as its founding director. Born in Yorkshire, Worsdale brings extensive institutional experience to the foundation dedicated to the legacy of sculptor Henry Moore.
