Gloria Campaner on Emotional Management for Performers

Pianist and composer Gloria Campaner discusses her method C# – SEE SHARP, designed to help musicians and performers manage stage anxiety. She will speak at the festivalfilosofia in Modena (September 19–21, 2025) with actress and singer-songwriter Margherita Vicario. Campaner began piano at age 4 and performed her first concert with a symphony orchestra at 11. She developed her method over ten years, inspired by yoga, martial arts, psychology, neuroscience, and theater therapy. She cites violinist Yehudi Menuhin as an influence, who integrated yoga into his teaching at the Menuhin School in London. Campaner currently runs the Palestra delle Emozioni project at conservatories in Modena and Carpi. Upcoming projects include Dialoghi sulla gioia with poet Franco Arminio, a show with actress Valeria Solarino, and a revival of Il Barbiere di Siviglia directed by Damiano Michieletto, produced by Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
