Global Exhibitions Spotlight Women Artists for International Women's Day 2026

In honor of International Women's Day 2026, ten exhibitions around the globe highlight the contributions of women artists and relevant themes. Tate Modern in London displays more than 100 pieces by Tracey Emin, featuring her notable work 'My Bed' (1998). Until March 22, Fotomuseum Den Haag presents female self-portraits, including those by Karlo Hiraldo Voleau. Foam in Amsterdam showcases Hajar Benjida's 'Atlanta Made Us Famous' until March 25. The National Museum for Women in the Arts in Washington DC will host a Women's History Month program throughout March 2026. Additionally, Hayward Gallery in London features a survey of Yin Xiuzhen's work until May 3, while Fotografiska Stockholm exhibits 'Not a Typical Persian Girl' until May 31. The Photo North Festival in Leeds is set for March 13-15, and the Museum of Photography in Berlin will unveil 'New Woman, New Vision' on April 17. Finally, the National Gallery of Victoria will present 'MOTHER' on March 27, and Hundred Heroines Gallery will showcase Claire Aho's work until May 31.
