Global Art Institutions Shutter Amid COVID-19 Spread, Some Asian Venues Reopen

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, cultural institutions around the globe are shutting down. The Museum of Modern Art in New York will remain closed until March 30, while Berlin's state museums have announced closures lasting until at least April 19. Spain's Museo Reina Sofía has closed its doors following 191 fatalities.
