Gli Scatti delle Donne: Instagram project gathers thousands of female photographers

Artribune launched 'Gli Scatti delle Donne' for International Women's Day, a project in collaboration with BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. The initiative includes five essays by scholars Silvia Berselli, Angela Madesani, Fabiola Naldi, Caterina Porcellini, and Raffaella Perna. The core of the project is on Instagram, where women across Italy share their photos using the hashtag #gliscattidelledonne. Since March 1, nearly 4,000 images have been posted, covering intimate, social, landscape, and architectural photography in black-and-white and color. The collection is also displayed on a social media wall. Selected images are featured on BNL's art and culture Instagram account. The project remains open for ongoing contributions.
