Giuseppe Stampone’s ‘Game Over’ Retrospective at Fondazione Malvina Menegaz

Giuseppe Stampone's retrospective titled 'Game Over' is currently on display at the Fondazione Malvina Menegaz in Castelbasso, Teramo, highlighting his twenty-five-year artistic journey. The exhibition features works derived from his Global Education approach, interactive alphabets, and pieces inspired by his native region. Stampone challenges the notions of perspective and the Gutenberg typeface as instruments of Eurocentric capitalism, employing BIC pen cross-hatching influenced by Raphael. He elaborates on his thesis regarding perspective, tracing it from Piero della Francesca to Giulio Paolini, and presents his series 'Duchamp a casa Vermeer.' Upcoming projects include a lab beneath Gran Sasso, a film collaboration with Maria Crispal, and an emotional map in partnership with Buzzi Unicem. He also mentions his installation 'Caronte,' which appeared in U2’s 'Ordinary Love.'
