Giuseppe Gallo Exhibition at New Ellebi Gallery in Cosenza

Giuseppe Gallo, born in Rogliano, Cosenza in 1954, presents a solo exhibition titled 'Duplice è il movimento delle cose' at the newly opened Ellebi gallery in Cosenza. The show, held in the noble Palazzo Lupinacci, spans multiple rooms including chambers and residences, featuring works on paper, sculptures, and site-specific installations. The exhibition traces a fundamental slice of Italian art from the 1980s to the present, intertwining philosophy, mathematics, cosmology, and literature. The title quotes Dominican philosopher Giordano Bruno. Gallo's practice combines gesture, form, images, and words with irony and reflection, emphasizing materiality across techniques.
