Giuliana Setari Carusi Remembers Germano Celant's Legacy

Giuliana Setari Carusi, an Italian collector, recounts her decades-long friendship with curator Germano Celant, who died in 2020. She recalls his work ethic, his role in promoting Italian art abroad, and key exhibitions from the 1980s onward. In 1984, Celant organized 'Il modo italiano' in Los Angeles. In 1985, he curated 'The knot Arte Povera' at P.S.1 in New York and 'The European Iceberg' at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In 1986, he presented 'Pistoletto.
