Giulia Cenci's Public Art in Piedmont Woods Documented on Sky Arte

A documentary titled "Radis – Le Masche di Giulia Cenci" premieres on Sky Arte on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. It follows artist Giulia Cenci, invited by curator Marta Papini, as she creates a public artwork for the Chiot Rosa woodland in Rittana, Piedmont. The work, "Le Masche," inaugurated in October 2024, is now part of the Fondazione per l'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT collection and on permanent loan to the municipality of Rittana. The Radis project, which commissions one artwork annually, includes an artist residency, educational program, public meetings, and a group exhibition featuring works from the CRT Foundation. The documentary features perspectives from art world figures like Marta Papini, Giulia Cenci, Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, and Nicolas Ballario, alongside local residents and administrators. Cenci's work draws on local legends to create hybrid figures blending nature and artifice.
