Gisela McDaniel's First Italian Solo Show at Galleria Poggiali

Galleria Poggiali in Milan is hosting 'Tàifinakpo’', the first solo exhibition in Italy by Chamoru artist Gisela McDaniel, running until June. The show presents paintings that center on female subjects, transforming them from passive objects into active narrators. McDaniel, an Indigenous Chamoru American artist, works intimately with her models, allowing them to choose their clothing, poses, and adornments.
