Giovanni Lindo Ferretti's Graphic Novel 'Tanno' Announced by SaldaPress

publication · 2026-04-26

SaldaPress will publish 'Tanno', an autobiographical graphic novel by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, frontman of the Italian punk band CCCP, co-written with illustrator Michele Petrucci. The book, announced by editorial director Andrea G. Ciccarelli, is described as one of the publisher's most important releases of the year. Ferretti narrates his life in first person, intertwining his musical career with private and spiritual experiences, inspired by his childhood places and love for horses. The title refers to Tancredi, a horse he was deeply attached to. Petrucci, known for his biography of Reinhold Messner and a historical fiction on architect Vitruvius, recounts how the project began in March 2023 after a meeting at Ferretti's home in Cerreto Alpi. The graphic novel will debut at Lucca Comics and Games 2024 in late October, following the success of CCCP's reunion events including sold-out shows in Berlin, the exhibition 'Felicitazioni! Fedeli alla linea 1984–2024' in Reggio Emilia, and an ongoing Italian tour.
