Giovane Fotografia Italiana launches new website and call for under-35 artists
Giovane Fotografia Italiana has just unveiled its new website, which highlights an impressive collection of over 70 artists from eight different editions. The Comune di Reggio Emilia is inviting submissions from up-and-coming artists aged 35 and under for an exhibition at the Festival Fotografia Europea, set to run from April 23 to May 23, 2021, at the Chiostri di San Domenico in Reggio Emilia. This year’s festival theme is "Reconstruction." An international jury has chosen seven artists for the eighth edition, including Domenico Camarda and Irene Fenara. Curators Ilaria Campioli and Daniele De Luigi commended the website for bringing together past projects and supporting emerging talent. Culture councilor Annalisa Rabitti highlighted the site as a sign of cultural commitment during the pandemic.
