festival-fair · 2026-05-05

The call for Giovane Fotografia Italiana #06 is open until February 20, 2018, inviting Italian under-35 artists to submit photography projects on the theme 'Activism e RIVOLUZIONI. Ribellioni, cambiamenti, utopie,' aligned with the Fotografia Europea 2018 festival. The festival, now in its 13th edition, runs from April 20 to June 27, 2018, in Reggio Emilia, organized by Fondazione Palazzo Magnani and the Comune di Reggio Emilia. Curated by Daniele De Luigi, the call selects seven winning projects, each receiving €800 for production and travel costs. A new €2,000 prize will be awarded by an external jury during the festival's opening days. Submissions must be digital and sent to [email protected] by February 20. Results will be announced by February 28, 2018, on www.spaziogerra.it, www.fotografiaeuropea.it, and www.giovaniartisti.it. The initiative aims to discover emerging Italian photography talents and explore photography's role as activism in contemporary society.
