Giostre Edizioni: Independent Publisher Championing Young Italian Photographers

Giostre Edizioni, an independent publishing house founded in 2021 in Siena, Italy, focuses on promoting photography by artists under 35. The press provides emerging talents with financial and technical support to create artist books. Its editorial line is described as fresh, urgent, and impetuous, aiming to give voice to the communicative urgency of the under-35 generation through contemporary visual narratives. Giostre Edizioni produces limited-edition artist books, targeting a niche, passionate, and informed audience. The publisher has released six titles, including 'Fuoco Contro Fuoco' (on the fire healing ritual of Saint Anthony), 'Beginner’s Luck' (exploring luck), 'Come costruire un castello di carte' (on precarity), 'Dans le silence' and 'Tanti saluti dalla luna' (both intimate works on family, pain, and loss), and the latest 'Animabilia' by Clelia Cadamuro (examining the relationship between humans and animal aesthetics).
