Giorgio Tesi Group's eARTh Growing Creativity merges horticulture with art in Pistoia

Giorgio Tesi Group, Europe's leading ornamental plant producer with 500 hectares, 1,500 plant varieties, 200 employees, four branches, and exports to over 50 countries, has launched cultural initiatives in Pistoia's nursery district. The eARTh Growing Creativity project includes 'Il Giardino della Mente', a commission by artist Michele Fabbricatore featuring three totem sculptures over four meters tall covered in plants and flowers. The Giorgio Tesi Foundation, established in 2010, also publishes the quarterly NATURART magazine and launched an artist residency in 2017 during Pistoia's tenure as Italian Capital of Culture, attracting 40 international artists who produced over 500 images, later exhibited as '#RaccontaPistoia' at Palazzo Comunale. Most recently, the foundation supported street artist Millo's mural in Vicolo Bacchettoni as part of 'Il Giardino di Cino' by cultural organization SPICHISI, transforming a neglected alley with urban decor, lighting, and planting. The project aims to foster environmental awareness and civic engagement through art.
