Giorgio Galotti Opens New Gallery Space in Turin's Barriera di Milano District

institutional · 2026-05-05

Giorgio Galotti has relocated his gallery to a new space in Turin's Barriera di Milano district, at via Beinasco 16. The move follows his earlier transition from Rome to Turin in 2013 and the rebranding of the gallery as GRGLT in 2015. The new venue is a 70-square-meter exhibition cube with a terrace, designed as a showroom open by appointment only, without office or storage. It joins a growing cluster of galleries around the Museo Ettore Fico, including Noire, Franco Noero, and Gagliardi e Domke. The inaugural exhibition features site-specific works by Polish sculptor and filmmaker Piotr Skiba, who combines lightweight materials with archaic craftsmanship. Upcoming programming includes Brazilian artist Renata De Bonis, who will also participate in Cripta747's residency program, with a gallery show planned for May.
