Gioco del Lotto launches 'Idee Vincenti' tech incubation for cultural heritage
The 'Idee Vincenti' project, launched by Gioco del Lotto in collaboration with PoliHub and various Italian universities, aims to enhance Italy's cultural and artistic legacy through technology incubation. This initiative is directed at students, budding entrepreneurs, startups, and non-profits, encouraging innovative concepts utilizing virtual/augmented reality, blockchain, IoT, and AI. The program consists of several stages: call4ideas, entrepreneurial empowerment, acceleration, and project presentations. Five selected projects will participate in a six-month acceleration program at PoliHub with mentorship. This initiative seeks to bridge a digital divide, as 26% of Italian museums lack digital services, 39% have a weak online presence, and just 5% of graduates possess digital competencies. The project is backed by Fabio Cairoli, CEO of Lottomatica, and Stefano Mainetti, CEO of PoliHub.
