Gibellina PhotoRoad: site-specific open-air photography festival in Sicily
Italy's Gibellina PhotoRoad, the nation's sole open-air photography festival that is fully site-specific, turns the city of Gibellina into a vast museum. Featuring the works of 35 artists, the festival explores the history and identity of the area. Notable participants include Swiss artists Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs, Christian Lutz, Nicolas Polli, and others, alongside French artists Morgane Denzler and Michel Le Belhomme. Italian contributors include Mustafa Sabbagh and Gianni Cipriano, while Mexican artist Monica Alcazar-Duarte and US artist Brian McCarty also showcase their work.
