Gianikian & Ricci Lucchi's Russian Avant-Garde Journey Published by Humboldt Books
Humboldt Books has released "The Arrow of Time," focusing on the research of artists Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi into Russian avant-gardes. This project commenced with events in Brussels at ERG – École de Recherche Graphique in early 2015, culminating in a screening at Bozar during the Portes Ouvertes. The Cinémathèque royale de Belgique hosted their first Belgian retrospective, while a significant retrospective occurred at Pompidou from September to November 2015. Notably, the book features facsimiles of unpublished diaries from 1989-1990. Gianikian was unable to attend the Belgian events due to a serious accident.
