Gianfranco Gorgoni Retrospective at Palazzo Sarcinelli, Conegliano

Right now, at Palazzo Sarcinelli in Conegliano, there's an exhibition called 'Da Warhol a Christo. Dalla Pop alla Land Art' that pays tribute to the late Gianfranco Gorgoni, a Roman photographer who died in 2019. Curated by Alberto Dambruoso and Fabio Cosentino, the display runs until June 14 and features about thirty of Gorgoni's most significant photographs. Some standout pieces include a relaxed Andy Warhol flipping through a magazine and a smiling Leo Castelli. Gorgoni’s work also captures key moments in Land Art, like Joseph Beuys in a pond from 1971, Robert Rauschenberg in a villa pool in 1975, and Keith Haring on a fence in 1985.
