Gian Luigi Polidoro, born in Bassano del Grappa in 1928 and passing away in Vicenza in 2000, was a notable Italian filmmaker who completed his studies at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1948. In 1969, he produced Satyricon, which faced legal issues for featuring underage actors. He later made Permette signora che ami vostra figlia? (1974) and several low-budget comedies in New York.
