Giacomo Abbruzzese and Agostino Gambino Launch L'Avventura Production Hub in Cannes
During the Cannes Film Festival, director Giacomo Abbruzzese and producer Agostino Gambino unveiled L'Avventura, a new production company dedicated to fostering emerging Italian cinema, inspired by Michelangelo Antonioni's film of the same name. Based in Rome, the facility will include screening rooms, post-production studios, and an artist residency. The inaugural project is Morr, a documentary focusing on Senegalese actor Morr Ndiaye, followed by Marina, a short film co-written by Giustina Amarine and Paulina Spiechowicz. Additionally, L'Avventura initiated the "Stati Generali" of Italian cinema to solicit reform proposals.
