Getty Names Kimberly Uyttewaal as Vice President of Development and Institutional Advancement

Effective September 1, 2026, Kimberly Uyttewaal has been named Vice President of Development and Institutional Advancement at the J. Paul Getty Trust. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing fundraising efforts and establishing strategic partnerships as the Getty embarks on significant renovations and seeks to broaden its international reach. Uyttewaal has been with Getty since 2015, initially as Interim Vice President of Development and previously as Senior Director of Advancement for International Programs. Her accomplishments include leading fundraising for PST ART, securing the Mia Chandler Endowment, and overseeing the LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund. President Katherine E. Fleming commended her ten years of service and global expertise. Uyttewaal earned her bachelor's degree in History from UC Berkeley and a master's in French Studies from NYU.
