Getty Center to Showcase Century of Mexican Photography in 2026
The J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles will host an exhibition titled "Instante/revelación: Moments in Mexican Photography" from September 1, 2026, to January 3, 2027. Showcasing the works of 13 prominent photographers, including Lola Álvarez Bravo and Graciela Iturbide, this collection features images that reflect Mexican culture from the late 1920s to the mid-2010s. Donated by Daniel Greenberg and Susan Steinhauser over the last 25 years, the exhibition illustrates the evolution of Mexican society and its photographic tradition.
