Gernot Wieland's Ink and Milk Exhibition Opens at Belmacz London with ArtReview Bar Discussion

A discussion and drinks event featuring Austrian artist Gernot Wieland and ArtReview editor-in-chief Mark Rappolt will take place on Wednesday 16 January at the ArtReview Bar in London. Doors open at 6:30 PM with the talk scheduled for 7:00 PM. The event precedes the opening of Wieland's solo exhibition, Ink and Milk, at Belmacz London on 17 January. The exhibition will remain on view through 16 February. Rappolt has characterized Wieland's artistic approach as blending fact with fiction, horror with humor, and profundity with bathos. His films and performances are noted for their dark humor and exploration of art's dual nature as both useful and useless in humanity's search for meaning.
