exhibition · 2026-04-27

The 'Avec' exhibition at the Musée de l’imprimerie et de la communication graphique in Lyon showcases a retrospective of Gérard Paris-Clavel, a renowned French graphic designer. Curated by Isabel de Bary, the exhibit will be open until February 27, 2022. Paris-Clavel, born in Paris in 1943, attended the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and was a co-founder of the Grapus collective, which received the Grand Prix national des arts graphiques in 1991. Following the group's disbandment, he collaborated with Graphistes associés and established Ne pas plier in 1991. Since 2012, his studio, 'L’Atelier du Bonjour', has been located in Ivry-sur-Seine. The exhibition features works spanning from 1989 to 2014, including significant pieces like 'Money World' (1989) and 'Vive le service public' (2015). The museum itself, established in 1964, resides in a building dating back to the late 15th century.
