Initially, it was sold for £290 at La Rocka's London location. The auction featured other notable items, including a gold microphone used by Freddie Mercury in a 1982 Top of the Pops performance (£151,200), a poster signed by John Lennon shortly before his passing (£75,600), and a Gibson Les Paul '59, signed and played by Slash, which achieved a world record at £233,100.
