Georg Baselitz to Get First Retrospective at Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice
The Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice has announced its first retrospective of a living artist, Georg Baselitz, scheduled for 2019. The exhibition will span the German painter's sixty-year career through paintings, drawings, and sculptures, curated by Kosme de Baranano. This follows the success of the 2017 Philip Guston show.
