Genoa's Palazzo Grillo Hosts MOBS, a University-Led Exhibition on Migration
From March 15 to April 13, 2025, Palazzo Grillo in Genoa will present MOBS: mobilities, solidarities and imaginaries across the borders, an exhibition organized by five Italian universities: Genoa, Parma, Padua, Milan, and Naples L'Orientale. Curated by Anna Daneri, this initiative arises from the Prin 2020 research program supported by the Ministry of Research and features artists such as Alessandra Cianelli and Anto Milotta. The exhibition showcases photographs, installations, and performances that delve into themes of migration and solidarity. Highlights include a performance by Davide Cangelosi on March 22 and a screening of Massimo Cannarella's documentary La nave va. Additionally, on March 29, the University of Milan will unveil the book Amara terra and present Cianelli's performance Non era qui Babele? The exhibition is located on the first floor of Palazzo Grillo.
