Generali Celebrates 190 Years with Six International Artists' Posters in Milan

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Generali, the historic insurance group founded in Trieste in 1831, present in 50 countries with 75,000 employees, celebrates 190 years with an exhibition curated by Luca Massimo Barbero. Six international artists—Tim Lahan, Craig&Carl, Elena Xausa, Gerard DuBois, Alena Skarin, and Max Guther—reinterpret the company's values related to sustainability through digital illustration. The exhibition takes place in Piazza Tre Torri, Milan, until July 14, 2022, within a carousel structure designed by Migliore+Servetto in the CityLife district. The posters are also displayed in The Gallery, Generali's art and photography space at the Tre Torri metro station. Themes include generational interplay, collaboration, enabling technology, daily commitment, and sharing, depicted in iconic and futuristic visual representations. Generali has a history of commissioning posters from artists such as Marcello Dudovich, Achille Beltrame, Gino Boccasile, and Gian Luciano Sormani.
